On most days you will find me wearing at least one piece of mens clothing. My attraction to the menswear section in my favorite clothing stores will never never die down. Dresses and skirts have never been my thing and I know a lot of women feel the same way. A pair of vintage Levi jeans is much more comfortable and practical then a mini skirt. Mixing masculine and feminine pieces is one of my favorite ways to create a classic, well balanced outfit.

My most recent trip to goodwill resulted in finding this herringbone suit jacket and I knew right away that I would want to do a blog post based around it.

With this outfit I wanted to keep it casual and clean. Underneath the suit jacket is a grey turtleneck sweater. For pants I went with some Levi 501’s that I held up with a black leather belt. The gold buckle on the belt and the gold earrings add that feminine feel to the look without being overwhelming or too obvious. To finish off the look I put on some chunky black suede booties.

Enjoy and Happy New Year!

  1. Sorry I keep commenting on all of your posts, but I can relate so much! I also wear so many mens clothes, on a day to day basis. Some of them are so much more comfortable, and I love men and womens fashion. Hopefully one day there won’t be a men and women section in shops anymore, and everyone can just wear whatever they want.
